Marika is based on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland in Australia and interacts internationally mostly by email and video conferencing (zoom, skype, google meet). Please let us know where you are based (problems of time zones).

Marika welcomes exchanges with other researchers and thinkers.

Marika’s research work for the past 25 years has not been funded except by herself. She uses topologic methods, to benefit people who are invisible in statistics, to research, and in society, who are isolated, and whose needs are not met by existing societal organisation. This means that her research program is not part of institutions, organisations or groups, nor recipient to conventional grants and community subsidies. The Foraging Station Experiment is however urgent, given the global situation, both physical and societal, and will benefit this hidden population, which may have a more interesting contribution to make than it seems.

Collaboration with society is therefore the only option for the field project to be allowed and enabled. If you wish to support the experiment, please do get involved.

 Marika is keen to collaborate with a topologist conversant in computer animation software, and to hear about the fundamental questions or anomalies in your field — this work might be able to contribute to the understanding.

Formulating this work, for both theory and applications, is an ongoing activity. It will occur mostly through videos containing geometric animations. Subscribe to the Youtube channel ‘Animated Geometry’ to be updated. You can still make contact if you have concepts or applications to discuss.

Dr Bouchon is not developing the Health Ecology approach into more  details of  theory, since after 15 years of testing the topologic methods, they proved to actually be effective, and offer something new that other frameworks cannot model nor provide options for. Rather, the Foraging Station Experiment will implement the elements of ecology detected in field work, and explore the Water Strain Hypothesis of chronic deterioration.
